GSCS- Good Shepherd Central School was opened on 1st June 2009 with the aim of providing quality education to students residing in and around Belgaum. It started functioning as a small school from Nursery to STD III with a strength of 150 students, 5 classrooms & now it reached a strength of 700 students, 10 classrooms from Nursery to STD X. The school has gone from strength to strength having acquired CBSE affiliation and increased its teaching faculty from 26 to 40.By the process of natural growth we have now reached STD X.

Principal, Good Shepherd Central School, Affiliated to CBSE-830480 Seasoned academician par excellent for over 3 decades shaping millions of minds in the capacity of a teacher, principal and an administrator. SMART CLASS

All our classes are well equipped with smart boards which are connected to the knowledge center. It keeps our children connected with the latest technology and helps our teachers with their lesson plans.

ACTIVITY HALL

We have a multipurpose hall where various activities are conducted. It is used to boost our children's creativity. We conduct various hobby classes like yoga, dance, music and drawing are conducted here.

SPORTS

Sports keep children physically fit and mentally alert. We have a playground with colorful slides and swings where the tiny tots enjoy. Various sports and athletics are played under the guidance of well qualified coaches.

LABS

We have a well-equipped composite lab with latest equipments which help the students to comprehend the basic concepts easily. We also have well-furnished computer lab that helps children to be in touch with latest technologies.

TRANSPORTATION

Good Shepherd Central School has three school buses which pick up the children from various residential areas. We have well trained driving staff that makes sure that the children are safely escorted to and from the school.

LIBRARY

We have rapid growing library with a good collection of reference books, encyclopedias, story books etc which caters to the needs of children as well as teachers. We are subscribers to various periodicals which include weeklies, fortnight lies, monthlies etc. We even buy national and local newspapers
